2021 Sigurd Reserve Cabernet Bordeaux Blend

A rare gem from the Barossa Valley, this wine showcases the elegance and power of old-vine cabernet sauvignon. Crafted by Sigurd Wines, a small-batch producer with a passion for organic and biodynamic farming, this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. The grapes are sourced from 50-year-old vines in Vine Vale, a sub-region known for its sandy soils and cool climate. The wine is aged for 16 months in French oak hogsheads from the Cognac region, adding complexity and structure to the rich and ripe fruit flavours. Expect aromas and flavours of dark berries, plums, cassis, cedar, spice and tobacco, with a long and smooth finish.
