The 2022 MV Lunacy Pet Nat - a vibrant, pink-hued, lightly fizzy delight made from an aromatic field blend of Gwertzaminer, Muller Thurgau-Gris and Muscat, co-fermented and bottled under the magic of the full moon. The nose is an enticing mix of rose petal, coriander seed, and meaty richness, layered with a hint of black pepper and butterscotch. On the palate, a delicate, effervescent fizz carries bright flavours of orange zest and sherry-like nuttiness, giving way to a silky texture with a touch of marshmallow root. Free-spirited, and dangerously drinkable.

About the Winemaker
Cynthea Semmens | Marion's Vineyard

Tucked away on the west bank of the Tamar River in the charming village of Deviot, Marion's Vineyard has been a labor of love since 1979. Founded by Marion, a fiery Cypriot, and Mark, a Californian dreamer, the vineyard transformed from a wild patch of bushland into a thriving cool-climate haven. Decades later, their family continues to pour their hearts into this unique slice of Tasmania, where vines coexist with bees, wallabies, and wildflowers. At the helm is Cynthea Semmens, a passionate winemaker whose approach blends deep respect for the land with a keen sense of adventure. From soil science to regenerative farming, her mission is to nurture the vineyard and let its character shine through every bottle.
