The 2023 Domaine de la Pinte ‘La Pinte Bien’ Poulsard is a vibrant and expressive red wine, showcasing the best of Jura’s native grape. Made from 35-year-old vines planted in red marl soils, it is fully destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts before aging for seven months in concrete tanks. Light ruby in colour, it offers tangy red fruits and warm spices, leading to a beautifully balanced palate with fresh acidity. With silky tannins and a bright, fruit-driven character, this chillable red pairs effortlessly with everything from tajines and charcuterie to bbq’s with mates.

Domaine de la Pinte is one of the largest natural wine producers in the Jura region, with 34 hectares of organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in Arbois and Pupillin. Established in 1952, the estate has a long-standing reputation for producing wines that honor Jura’s unique terroir. The vineyards sit at around 400 meters above sea level on a mix of red Triassic marls and blue Liassic marls, soils that contribute to the distinctive minerality and freshness of their wines.

Under the guidance of winemaker Emmanuelle Perraut, Domaine de la Pinte is known for both its deep respect for tradition and its forward-thinking approach, embracing biodynamic principles and natural winemaking techniques.
