2021 Summertime ‘Le Ciel est Bleu’ Pet Nat

Emeline and Sébastien share a passion for natural and organic wines. After they met, Emeline, a trained sommelier, joined Sébastien at his family domaine in Saumur, Loire Valley. Sébastien is the seventh generation of winemakers in his family, and he inherited 1.8 hectares of vines and a cellar from his grandparents in 2002. Since then, he has expanded the domaine to 13 hectares and converted to biodynamic farming, following the principles of Pierre Rabhi, a philosopher and agro-ecologist.

Emeline and Sébastien work in both the vineyard and the cellar, using native grape varieties and minimal intervention. Their wines are expressive, authentic and full of character, reflecting the diversity of their terroirs and their personalities. They produce wines under the Saumur appellation, as well as Vin de France, experimenting with different grapes and styles.

Emeline and Sébastien are part of a new generation of winemakers who are redefining the boundaries of natural wine and creating exciting and delicious wines.
