Zippy, textural, and incredibly refreshing, this Fiano Pét-Nat is a bright burst of citrus, orchard fruit, and subtle herbs, all wrapped up in a gentle fizz. About the Winemaker
Rachel Signer | Cleopatra Wines

Rachel Signer doesn’t just make wine - she tells stories through it. A writer-turned-winemaker, Rachel fell for the Adelaide Hills and its untamed beauty, swapping her journalist’s pen for a basket press to create wines that are alive, expressive, and full of joy. She’s also the author of You Had Me at Pét-Nat, a deep dive into the world of natural wine, and the founder of Pipette Magazine, a publication dedicated to low-intervention winemaking. Her label, Cleopatra Wines (formerly Persephone), is all about zero-zero winemaking - no additions, no interventions - just fruit, time, and intuition.

Made in tiny batches in a little shed on Rachel’s farm in Basket Range, Cleopatra Wines is about gut-feel winemaking - fermenting in ceramic jars, pressing with a traditional wooden basket press, and letting nature do its thing.
