Domaines Chermette is a family estate in Saint-Vérand, the heart of the Golden Stone region of South Beaujolais. Martine, Pierre-Marie, and Jean-Étienne Chermette are the driving forces behind this vineyard, passionately crafting authentic, high-quality wines.

Martine brings a global perspective to Domaines Chermette, with an impressive academic background in languages, foreign trade, and business. Her commitment to natural and authentic wines was instilled in her by her mother, who had a love for nature and good products. Martine’s influence extends beyond the vineyards ~ she innovatively combines winemaking with the arts, pairing tastings with art exhibitions.

Pierre-Marie was raised amidst the vines of Vissoux. His expertise as an oenologist laid the foundation for his transformative role at the estate. Taking the reins from his father, Pierre-Marie’s vision propelled the winery from local bulk wine sales to an internationally recognised bottled wine brand. His dedication to expanding and diversifying the vineyard’s appellations has seen the estate flourish under his careful guidance, with a particular fondness for the art of vinification and blending.

Jean-Étienne represents the new generation of Domaines Chermette, infusing the family legacy with fresh perspectives and innovative practices. Since joining the family business in 2017, Jean-Étienne has taken on a pivotal role in winemaking, viticulture, and commercial development.
