About the Winemaker
Valérie Vidal Revel is the passionate owner and winemaker of Domaine de Grandpré, a 26-hectare estate in the heart of the Côtes de Provence appellation. Valérie inherited her love for the land from her grandfather, a farmer, and decided to revive the ancient vineyards of the domain, which date back to the Roman times. She cultivates her vines with respect for the environment, following biodynamic principles and organic practices. She also preserves the tradition of the region by working with native grape varieties such as Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Rolle.
Valérie's wines reflect the terroir of Pierrefeu, a unique microclimate influenced by the sun, the wind and the rocks. They are expressive, elegant and balanced, with a distinctive character and personality.
