About the Winemakers
Lise and Bertrand Jousset make distinctive wines from native varietals in Montlouis-sur-Loire, a lesser-known appellation in the Loire Valley. They started their domaine in 2004 with 3.5 hectares of vines, and have since expanded to 13 hectares spread across dozens of tiny plots.
Their philosophy is to work with nature, not against it, and they follow biodynamic principles in their vineyard and cellar. They produce single-vineyard wines as well as complex field blends, expressing the diversity and richness of their terroir. Their wines are lively, pure, and full of character, reflecting their own personalities and passion.
