Caleigh Hunt and Luke Growden are the dynamic duo behind Year Wines, a boutique winery in the McLaren Vale region of South Australia. Their philosophy is simple: to make honest, expressive and delicious wines that reflect the vintage, the variety and the place.

Year Wines are made with minimal intervention, using organic or biodynamic grapes from carefully selected vineyards. Caleigh and Luke aim to capture the essence of the year that shaped each of their wines, showcasing the diversity and quality of McLaren Vale’s terroir. Their range includes classic varieties such as Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as more adventurous ones like Nero d’Avola, Fiano and Vermentino.

Caleigh and Luke are part of a new generation of winemakers who are pushing the boundaries and challenging the status quo in Australian wine. In 2020, Luke was named as one of the Young Gun of Wine finalists, a prestigious award that recognises the most innovative and exciting winemakers in the country.
