Virginia Willcock, Chief Winemaker at Vasse Felix, is a trailblazer in Australian viticulture. With nearly three decades of experience, she has elevated the estate to international acclaim. Her passion for winemaking began in the vineyards north of Perth, and her journey took her across the globe, honing her skills in New Zealand and Italy.
In Margaret River, Virginia found her true calling. Her hands-off approach and meticulous craftsmanship shine through in the Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wines at Idée Fixe (Vasse Felix's sparkling wine project). Each bottle reflects the essence of the region, shaped by almost 30 grape harvests. Virginia Willcock’s legacy is one of passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
